A Quarter and Two Pennies

Happy 27th Birthday to Jared and Rebekah, 22nd birthday to my cousin Amber and Happy 1st birthday to my cute niece Reese! That is a lot of birthdays for one day.

This was Rebekah and Jared's 24th birthday, we went on our first date about a week later.

And this was at Hollywood Cafe when Kari told the waiter it was Jared's birthday. It wasn't his birthday.

Today Jared's soccer team had their third tournament game. It was an amazing game. The other team scored in the first minute, no one else scored the rest of game. When the clock said 0.05 seconds Jared shot the ball from midfield and a guy from his team tipped it in as the buzzer went off...it was like from out of a movie. No one scored during over time so it went to a shootout. Each team got 5 shots. Each of the teams had scored 3 of the first 4. Our goalie blocked their last shot then took his turn to shoot and made it, winning the game! It was really exciting.

The rest of the day Jared had to work on school stuff, oh the life of a student. When he gets home tonight from school I'll have dinner waiting to celebrate!
