Tonight Jared, Adelyn and I went to Penguin park. It's about 10 minutes from our house right by where we go to church. It has these gigantic statues of a: penguin, kangaroo, giraffe and some smaller animals too like elephants and what not. The kangaroo and a big slide inside of it and the penguin has a baby slide in it.
We are seriously strapped for cash right now and so I have been researching free things to do in Kansas City. I actually found quite a few things that look like fun, especially because they are all family friendly. We have about 3 weeks before Jared starts medical school and we lose him forever, so I want to make the most of it especially now that we're pretty much settled into our house. I will document our adventures starting tonight with penguin park.

Yea, it's always a lot easier to find things to do when you have money. I think that's a pro of big cities - they have more free stuff you can do.
You guys are seriously the cutest little family. I seriously think these are the best days of our lives. At home with one kid and pregnant with another. I wonder if it gets any better? Seems all downhill from here. haha
I don't know if that sounded like I'm pregnant. I'm not for the record. haha. Maybe soon?!
I am really struggling with the name change. Then again, I have no idea what Joie De Verie or whatever meant, but I do understand Jen-ology.
