The Girl

Update: I am 38.5 weeks pregnant. The first time they checked me at 36 weeks I was dilated to a 3 and 75% effaced. At my apt last week, I was dilated to a 5 and they didn't tell me how effaced (and I forgot to ask). Also his head dropped down around 35 weeks (which is THE most uncomfortable thing in the world.) Probably too much information but walking around with a head between your legs for 4 weeks seriously sucks. And I have yet to have a single contraction. Not even the fake ones. This is exactly the same story as with Adelyn (except she hadn't dropped.) With her I was induced at 39 weeks already dilated to 6cm and 100% effaced. My last prenatal apt for this pregnancy is tomorrow at which point they will set my date to be induced which will hopefully be this Friday. I say hopefully because I won't actually be 39 weeks till Saturday and I don't know if they'll be really strict and make me wait till Monday (you're not allowed to be induced until 39 weeks unless it's an emergency.) Everyone say a prayer that the doctor takes pity on me and let's me schedule for Friday!

Also, this kid still does not have a name. Any suggestions? I would like his middle name to be Jared...so something that sounds good with that. _______ Jared Romney. Seriously we have nothing.

Townhouse Remodel

I realized that I still haven't posted any pictures of where we live. But it's a nice thing I waited because they just finished a remodel of all the townhomes. The remodel included: new roofs, new exterior siding, all new windows and doors, complete new kitchens (new cabinets, new sinks, new disposal and they added a dishwasher and built in microwave) and the downstairs bathroom got new sinks and cabinets and vanities. Also, some of the townhomes still had nasty green and yellow linoleum from like the 70's or something and those got replaced with updated 2009 linoleum. So here are some before and after pictures of the remodel. I'm still decorating Adelyn's big girl room and the I'm still painting the new baby boy nursery so pictures of those and some of the other rooms will come soon. Also, I forgot to take the before pictures of our actual townhouse so the outside ones are actually across the street that are still getting worked on and the inside ones are from a neighbors house...but it's the exact same layout.
